  • Height: 63.5ins (161cm)
  • Width: 46ins (117cm)
  • Depth: 22ins (56cm)

The quality of design and craftsmanship are exceptional suggesting the piece may have been made by Chippendale during his early years in London and designed by Matthias Darly, a professional designer, engraver & drawing master.  Throughout 1753 Chippendale and Darly were collaborating on the plates for The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director published in 1754
