Each with upholstered scroll backs and seats between mahogany frame arms supported by sphinx, raised on cabriole legs with griffin mounts

Kinloch Castle was built by George Bullough a wealthy industrialist after he purchased the island in 1890. These chairs were part of the original suite of furniture bought in 1900 to furnish the Empire Room
