An exceptional Chippendale period Pole Screen

Description

The rectangular carved frame surrounding a panel of  petit point needlework depicting ladies in a garden scene within a classical floral border backed by Chinese wall paper  on an adjustable pole with turned finial on a tripod base carved with cabochon and paw feet
