Attributed to the important Irish carver and gilder John Houghton, Golden Lane, Dulin
Provenance: Believed to have belonged to Lord Belmore, Castle Coore, Co. Fermanagh
The cabinet pre-dates the present house designed by James Wyatt in 1790 and would have been amongst the saved contents of the original house built in 1709 which burnt down.
